I was so sorry to hear of your loss. One of my happiest memory from this Christmas was watching Bill lead the Christmas Carol singing at the party. His lungs may have been weak but his smile was huge and gave joy to us all. I have know Bill for 15 years and I will miss him. May he rest in peace.
I always thought of Bill as the official greeter of Elvira Zion. Bill always visited with everyone and had a kind word and also a strong faith. Our son Daniel use to love talking to Bill after church. I remember how worried we were about Bill when Marvel was so sick and dying, yet it was Bill who gave everyone strength and hope and helped everyone remember the good times. Thank God for the Bill's of the world who remind us what is really important!! May God Bless your memories of Bill.

Jan, you and your family have my deepest Sympathy in the loss of your brother Bill. You were so good to Bill and helped all of us know him better, with your stories and Love for Billy. He was getting weaker and his precious heart more tired, but his smile and his character will live on in the memory, not only of you, his family, but with all that ever met Dear Billy!
Sincerely, Kathy Spenny
We are so sorry for your loss. Bill always made us smile, and we were always amazed by how many people felt the same way the we do. No matter where Bill was in the community, he seemed to be the most popular guy in the room. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
I love you Papa...from Justine Kaylee Buckman.
Billy always had a pleasant nature about him that gave hope and encouragement to me during the hard times of growing up in a farming community. Janis, you showed great dedication to your brother and set an example I have followed for my patients with challanges. The weather has made a turn for the wintery worst but I am sure you and your family will have a great outpouring of support. The community was so kind to my family when father Hans was buried during a Christmas Eve blizzard 27 years ago.
God bless all of you.
Bill was such a blessing--he never failed to give a hug and a smile and ask about our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I was saddened to learn of Bill's passing. What fond memories I have of him while growing up (especially at Elvira Zion). I was always amazed how Billy always remembered everyone's name, regardless of how much time had passed since he last saw you; always greeting you with a cheerful hello and a good handshake.
My mother asked me to extend her condolences also, and to let you know we are sending donations to "Camp Courageous" in memory of Bill. (I am sorry I missed the visitation due to a "respiratory bug" that has gotten the best of me). Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
