I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I can still remember him sitting on the front porch keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood. I know he will be truly missed. I am unable to attend the visitation because of a prior commitment but I will be there in thought.
These are the sad times in our life as our loved ones leave and we are left behind for now. I have such fond memories of years past and your family's annual visit to KY and the "Halcomb Reunion". The distance that miles created was immediately erased upon your arrival to Brodhead and continued through that second week in June each year for many decades. This is a family event that ties all of us together. May peace follow each of you and always know we all share the bond of this beautiful family with such good and moral roots. Love to each of you.
Your cousin,
Joan Burke Hammons

Uncle Henry, since I was a kid I always looked forward to our family reunions when you guys would travel to Kentucky. Everybody was always so gracious and kind. It was such a joy to be around your whole family. I remember Aunt Tudy always had something funny to say that would crack everybody up. Charlie, Johnny and myself were always together when you were here and I enjoyed every minute. I really missed you guys this year when you were not able to make the trip. You were always such a wealth of knowledge about how to fix something and about family members and how they were related. I always loved just having a conversation with you. I miss you already.
I love all you guys!

Uncle Henry and Aunt Tudy were a big part of my childhood memories. The times they spent here each year were the best. We had lots of laughs and carefree times I will never forget. He will be greatly missed. We are all thinking of you at this time and God Bless you all.
I am so sorry for the loss of your Father. Uncle Henry was always nice to me and I enjoyed seeing him on his visits to Ky when I was young. I will always remember his stories of when he was a boy growing up in Broadhead, Ky.
He will truely be missed and my Heart goes out to all of his children and grand children.
Love,
Jeff and Susan Halcomb
