Vivian Edens' Obituary
Vivian N. Edens, 75, of Clinton, formerly of Bettendorf, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Bluff Terrace Nursing Home in Clinton. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008, at 11:00am at the Davenport Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Vivian Armstrong was born on March 20, 1933 in Bettendorf, IA, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret (Sidlinger) Armstrong. She graduated from Davenport High School. She was employed for many years as a clerk at the Davenport Assessors Office. She was a member of the Bettendorf Presbyterian Church, she was a member of the Eastern Star, and was an avid reader. She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy (Richard) Schnoor of Clinton; two grandchildren, Richard Schnoor Jr. of Camanche, and Stephanie (Bryan) Trich of Clinton; one great-grandson, Hunter Schnoor of Clinton; one sister, Janet (Jerry) Matzen of Bettendorf, IA; two nieces, one nephew, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
