Hi Maxine, I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T KNOW US, BUT WE BOUGHT THE VAN FROM VIRGIL LAST YEAR. AND EVEN THO WE DIDN'T GET TO KNOW HIM FOR VERY LONG, WE THOUGHT THAT VIRGIL WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND WE LOVED HIM & WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH!
GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS
DON & MARGE NANCE
Maxine - You have our deepest sympathy with the passing of Virgil. Virg (as we know him) was such a special friend who really touched our lives. We would not be were we are if it wasn't for him. He helped us out in so many ways. More than anyone will ever know. Not only did he help us with our first home but he was the best man at our wedding. We will never forget him. We have the fondest memories of him and to Dave, he was like a second father who cared deeply for him. I remember him letting us use his motorhome one weekend so Dave and I could get "away". Tara was young then but she still remembers it. We will always think of him as a part of our family.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do for you, please let us know.
Our thoughts are with the family. I (Jim)grew up with Russell Showerman and have been best of friends our whole life. I have actually never meet Uncle Virgil in person(I knew him as Uncle Virgil), but have known of him as far back as little kids running around on Summer Street in Kalamazoo. I know Russell looked up to him and always spoke of him to me with high respect and admiration; therefore, as best friends, I felt the same. The Showerman family has always been and will always be a part of my life. Uncle Virgil will continue to be as he always has been in my life.
Blessing to the family.
Jim and Annette Moore
IT IS SO SAD TO LOOSE SUCH A GOOD PERSON. HE WILL BE MISSED BY EVERY ONE THAT KNEW HIM.
