Timothy D. Spittler, 40, of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly of Clinton, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 in Salt Lake City.
A visitation to honor Tim’s life will be Friday, September 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Timothy Daniel Spittler was born February 28, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Daniel and Irene (Leahy) Spittler. He was a 1993 graduate of Clinton High School.
Tim served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy and Dental Tech in the United States Marine Corp.
Tim enjoyed martial arts and anything that meant he was learning something new to better himself or someone else. He had most recently been employed at ADP AdvancedMD.
Tim is survived by his two children: Gaven and Kaydence Spittler who live in Utah; his mother, Irene (Gary) Light of Georgetown, Texas; his father, Daniel (Susan) Spittler of Savanna, Illinois; one brother, David Spittler of Clinton; multiple aunts and uncles from Stockton, Illinois, Savanna, Illinois, Clinton, Iowa, Georgetown, Texas, and Delmar, Iowa; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
