I was so sorry to read about your brother and didn't realize that he had 2 kidney transplants. As the weeks go by, reflect on all the good family times you had with your folks, Stephen, and Linda. God bless you all, Sally

I didn't know Stephen personally but like to share same comfort that was brought to me
"As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing." 1 Corinthians 15:26 May you find comfort from this promise when death will be gone forever.
Sharon & Mary,I was so very surprised to see Steve's passing, the funeral the same day as my Gary's...both of our brothers. I am so very sorry, Steve was a very gentle and kind person, I know you will miss him so very much....God Bless you. Love you, Joyce
I spent much of my time as a teenage with Steve's sisters; Linda Tanner, Sharon Burggraaf and Mary Metzger. Sharon and Mary are closer to my age so I was with them often. We girls were, and still are, close and I know the impact Steve's death has had on them. They rejoice because Steve is with the Lord now, but grieve at losing HIM. They were concerned about their little brother most of Steve's life because of his diabetes. Steve received 2 kidneys during his lifetime, which extended his life to the age of 57. As a tribute to Steve, please become an organ donor...it saves lives!
You are all in our prayers at this most difficult time. Lean on Him and your hearts will sing again! PTL
We have many fond memories of Steve and his sons when they lived up the street. Steve was a dear friend who will be missed. Our hearts go out to his sons who grew up with our sons. We always enjoyed having them at the house.
Uncle Steve...
Thank you for my great childhood memories....I loved staying with you and hanging with my cousins! I loved that you always took us to Daisy Donuts and let us pick whatever we wanted...I love and miss you:) See you again....
Stephen Paul, you were so dear -
When you were born, we gave a cheer!
And now you're gone, only fifty-seven -
But I'll rejoice, cause I know you're in heaven!
So, we'll go on, cause that's life, you know -
But, I'm sure gonna miss you, my baby bro!!!
Love Forever and Ever, Linda Rose
We are going to miss you, our brother!
Thanks for the memories!!!!! Linda Tanner, Sharon Burggraaf, Mary Metzger
I haven't seen Steve for quite a few years but I remember lots of time spent at the Benson house! I went to school with Bud and always enjoyed visiting. My thoughts and prayers go out to the boys and their families. God bless.
