Shirley A. Jacobsen, 73, of Clinton, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. A Memorial Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snel Read Obituary
To the children of our beloved niece ;
We are so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a beautiful person & she will be forever in our hearts. We enjoyed having her spend the holidays with our family the last several years of her life. We will miss her so much.

Shirley (Sis) was always a joy to see. Although we didn't have many family reunions or go to Clinton much, but when we saw Sis, she always had a smile and a great attitude. She was a joy to be around.

Shirley was always my 'Sis', even though, we were cousins & I loved her dearly! I will always remember the fun times we had as kids, then later as moms & these last years sharing the love of our grandkids, too. Sis was always kind & I loved her spunkiness & learned from it!!
I will miss her greatly, as you precious kids & grandkids & greatgrands will. Never doubt the love she had for each of you!!!
