Shamus Pridemore's Obituary
Shamus B. Pridemore, 39, of Fulton, Illinois, died Monday, April 13, 2009 in Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS Post#28. Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Garrison, Tim Carver, Larry Pridemore, and Dave Van Horn. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Shamus Bruce Pridemore was born on April 6, 1970 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Ralph and Clara (Carroll) Pridemore. He married Erin Anderson on September 8, 2007 in Clinton. Shamus was a graduate of Clinton High School. He was a veteran Operation Desert Storm serving in the United States Army from 1989 until being honorably discharged in 1993. Shamus was former truck driver and worked in construction. Shamus was a member of the Clinton AMVETS Post#28. Shamus is survived by his wife: Erin of Fulton; a son: Cody Pridemore at home, one daughter: Nicole Pridemore of Clinton: his siblings: Gladys Swan of DeWitt, Melvin Pridemore of Davenport, Zelda Boles of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jerry Pridemore of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Elaine McMann of Duluth, Minnesota, Ellen LeBeau of Pierre, South Dakota, Larry Pridemore of Clinton, and Ruth Ann Marshall of Pierre, South Dakota. Shamus was preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Elwanda LeBeau. Memorials may be made to his children.
