Helen and Dan; I got home late Friday evening from a business trip in Northern Mn. I found out about Scott's passing Sat. noon. I really had a great time hanging out and working for Scotty. He taught me how to be a mechanic and much more about life in general. We had fun bowling after work, playing pool at your house on Meadowview, and Sunday afternoon plane rides. We'll all miss him. You have my sympathy. Jack Ramser
Helen and family,
Deepest sympathies to you and your family.
We will remember Scott as a wonderful, kind, sharing person. His support for the Grandview รข?? Letts Lions Club will be missed. We built easels together for the Lions Club and then donated them to L-M Schools.
We will have him in our prayers.

Dear Mrs. Westbrook,
Dave always spoke so highly of you and Mr. Westbrook. I'll never forget the time you visited us at our home in Peoria, we felt so special that you would take the time to be with us. The connection between Dave and I with Dan and Connie will never be broken. Sadly, you and I are now members of a club we never asked to join. But there is comfort and peace in knowing that Mr. W and Dave no longer suffer and indeed are in a perfect new home in heaven watching down on us and serving as our own personal guardian angels! How lucky for you and I and all of our families. God's love and strength will see us through. Sending you my love and many hugs, Desiree
Dear Helen, Dan, & Connie,
I was so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. He was such a strong and vibrant man. My memories go as far back as the 5th grade, when we were lucky enough to have your family move to Clinton, and we became friends. Please know that your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. Take comfort that his suffering is finally over and your healing can now begin. Love, Jim
Cousin Scott I will miss you. Your kindness and encouragement over the years always meant a lot. Your support of our family reunions helped keep our wandering clan together. I enjoyed our visits in Clinton and Grandview and your visit to us in New Hampshire. Helen, Dan and family you will be in our prayers and always welcome should you venture back east. Rest in peace dear man.
Dear Helen and family,
Was sorry to read in the paper of Scottie's passing. I fully intended to come down to funeral home. I have been dealing with some health issues and they consume my days.
I sorry I did not make it to give you my thoughts and concerns. I remember you two well, Gyros and also coming to your house. Fred passed away October 25th, 2007. It is very lonesome and I know he is in a better place but I am still alone.
He was diagnosed with ALS in June, 2007 and just deteriorated quickly. Our older daughter, Jeanine came home in May and stayed until his passing. It was a very busy time and I could not have kept him at home without her and hospice.
May God Bless, Martha Truax
Helen and Dan-I was sorry to hear of Scott's passing. He was a great human being and always gave individuals a chance and treated them with dignity and respect. I remember many times on Saturdays he would put me to work hauling pipes and cleaning up when I was in Jr High/High school. Sorry that I was unable to make it back but I thought of your families throughout that day. I know Scott is at peace.
God Bless-Mick
I received some old photos from a cousin from Sumner, IA. We do not know the people in the photos but two of the photos are of "Helen Westbrook and husband" taken around the 1940's. I would like to get them to family members who would like them. If you would like them, please send me an address where I can mail them. If they are not your family, you may do what you like with them. Thank you. Dean Timm
