Sorry to hear of Bob's death. We remember the days of Mash Bash, etc.
I especially remember his love of barbershop singing. Bob is one of the fond memories from our time in Clinton.
My sincere sympathies to Mrs. German and her family.
I saw Dr. German only once a years for minor skin blemishes, but he treated me with great respect and attentive care.
I am sorry for you that he could not enjoy years of retirement with you. We lose the best too soon.
Dr. German will be greatly missed. He was an outstanding dermatologist. I always enjoyed my appointments and visits with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Just wanted to take a moment to let the family know that my family and I will miss him terribly. He was an outstanding doctor, a very intellegent and caring man. It will take one exceptional doctor to fill his shoes. He always joked and was so kind to my children. My children felt comfortable and unafraid in his care. He treated them like his own and was always precise making a diagnosis. Many of my family members have seen him also and feel the same way. I'm sure that God will be glad to welcome him with open and loving arms for all the healing and love he gave to others. A man like he only comes along once in awhile. He was a true Icon to all that knew him....
May he rest in peace and continue to practice his magic in Heaven. God bless each and all of you.
A friend and a patient of his.
Diana He will be sadly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this time of loss. I always looked forward to seeing Doc at men's day and men's league at CCC. Always one of my favorite members!!
To: Rob, Tim and family: I offer my heartfelt sympathy. I was a choir class mate and Cindy ( my niece) dated Tim for a time. I also knew your dad from his practice. He will be greatly missed. I lost my own dad several years ago so I know the lost you are feeling. I am keeping you in my prayers and thoughts.
Sharon, sons and their families: I "grew up with your husband/dad/grandfather" - as he did his Derm training and I visited the department regularly in high school and then in college at Iowa. Judy and I loved his kindness and humor! Too bad "German" isn't Irish, 'cause he'd have loved an Irish Wake!! Enjoy your wonderful memories, as will we!
Love, Dr. Bob and Judy Carney (Jr)
rest in peace, good doctor.
Rob - so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. You have our deepest sympathy, your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
