Rae Irene McConnell, 88, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Addington Place of Clinton, Iowa. Services will be 11:00AM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held from Read Obituary
Bion and Rae were such a huge part of our living in Clinton. We loved when they visited Colorado. When I visited Clinton in later years, I'd visit with Rae and we could talk for hours. I loved her laugh. And just like family, she is one of the few that called me Barbie. Rae was wonderful, funny, and loving.
We wish you peace at this difficult time.

Bion and Rae were so hospitable and loving when we lived in Clinton, and Terry pastored their church. Rae always was upbeat and had a smile on her face.
Rae was a dear friend to my Aunt Alta Jones. She was a sweet lady. Sympathy to all of her family and friends. Rest In Peace, Rae.
We are so sadden by the news of Rea’s passing. Our families grew up together! The great times meeting up in Colorado. Elitch Amusement Park, Casa Bonita, Grandma Plum’s in Rifle, Colorado, camping up Rifle Creek. Oh and Christmas Eve at the McConnell’s; the oyster stew!
