Paul E. Hammann, 93, of Goose Lake passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Memorial Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 29, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial will Read Obituary
I had the pleasure to work with Paul in Minneapolis at Snyder General. I was just out of college, and he was, to this day, the best engineer I ever had the privilage to work with. But aside from an engineer, Paul and I traveled together a couple times and we had a blast. He always had a one liner to share. We stayed in touch via email for quite a while after he retired. I often think about Paul today and his impact on our industry. Paul, you will be greatly missed. God Bless
I worked for Paul many years ago at American Air Filter, my first job out of high school. He was such a caring person. When I left to pursue other opportunities in California, he shared Proverbs 3:5-6 with me which are underlined with a note "from PEH" in the margin of my Bible to this day. My deepest sympathy to your family for your loss.
