You remain in my thoughts and prayers.
Bob, Sharon and Families. Your Mom was a friend which everyone should have in a life time. I can't remember a time when her smile and pleasant personality didn't have a positive impact on my day. It doesn't seem possible that fifty years have gone by since we all were neighbors. Those were certainly the good old midwestern days that I like to remember. Best wishes for you and your families in the future.
Aunt Nellie was the sweetest great Aunt there was. She never yelled- she always smiled and was so giving. One of my fondest childhood memories was horseback riding Cimmeron out in the fields by the house- my cousin Joan and I would go anytime we could.I learned to ride bareback at Aunt Nellie's farm.
My prayers go out to her children and their children......may God give you much comfort in the days ahead.
Love,
Karen
Sending my sympathies to the family. I will truly miss all the stories and interesting family history that she shared with so many of us. I can remember visiting my Grandmother's home (Catherine Mahoney), with my father and Mother ( David & Marlene Mahoney) and often finding Nellie or Sharon there visiting at the same time. I mostly remember her love for the horses and her Wonderful smile.
To Danny.... I miss your smile! Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. May the Lord Bless her and Keep her.
With much Love:
Callie
So sorry to here of the passing of your mom Bob and your grandma James. Are thoughts are with you.
Betty, Bob, Sharon, Mike and all you wonderful grandkids: I'm so sorry to hear of Nellie's passing. I just found out today (Friday). Unfortunately I cannot attend her services and it breaks my heart that I can't be there to pay my respect to sweet Nellie and to give you all a big hug. She lived a very long, wonderful life, and was probably the tiniest yet strongest woman I knew. I have such fond memories of her and you all. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all!
Love and prayers,
Kim Bennett, Dan & Girls
Dear Sharon & Bob & families,
I heard the news through my former brother in law, Jim Carstensen and was saddened by it. I have so many wonderful memories of your mother during my school years while visiting on the farm and doing all sorts of fun things around your family that I will cherish forever.
I know you will miss her as much as I miss my parents but you have strong faith and it will get you through the sad times.
God Bless you all and know I'm with you in spirit.
Love,
Pat
Nellie was a wonderful person who was an especially good friend to my mother, Vi Warren, who died several years ago. Growing up down the hill from the radio tower and Nellie's farm was a great childhood. Nellie's smile, laughter, and sweet personality still stick with me from when I was a little kid.
Nellie was very helpful to me in tracing our family tree. A very nice lady.
Our sincere sympathy goes out to the family at this time of their loss. We heard so many great stories about Nellie from Kris and feel she was a great lady. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Please rememeber to share all your wonderful memories of Nellie (Grandma)as that is what helps with a loss such as this.
