Mildred W. Watters, 82, of Savanna, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Fulton, Illinois. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Clinton Snell-Zornig Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Mil Read Obituary
Deepest condolences to the family. I met Muddy and Mildred when they ran the concession stand at the Palisades State Park in Savanna. I worked in the office and we became friends. Mildred always sent wonderful cookies and candies to the park and to Merrill and me at Christmas. Mildred and Muddy were a wonderful couple. I'm sure they are happy to be back together again.

You are going to be truely missed and I will see you again, I am now happy that you are safe and asured in your home with God. I love you Charlie
I know that you were truly happy that you were given so much love and support grandma from John Emerson who opened his arms and home for you with no reservaions. Don Watters your son who never left your side until your last breath. Melissa Ann Dauphin your granddaughter who was always there for you as you requeted until the end. You were truly loved and they showed it.
You will be forever missed but never forgotten.
I never got to know Grandma Neno as well as what I would have liked to. From what I did get to be arond, I realized that she was one of the most kind-hearted and wonderful women I have ever met. She was very well taken care of all the way up till the end. I don't think I could have chosen another three people that would have taken care of Neno as well as Donnie, Jon, and my mother, Melissa. They made sure her needs were met, and also made sure that her wants weren't just met, but surpassed and exceeded with care and love. She passed on to a greater world with dignity, courage, and most importantly, her faith. She was a wonderful woman and I find peace in knowing she is now in a safe wondeful place with the rest of her loved ones and her creator.

I will never forget what you have done for me grandma. Our time together was short, but my uncle Don and mom continue to talk about you and grandpa, and that keeps you with me. I hope if I have a son someday, he to will be like yours. I know of his part in helping you both to go home. You must have been an amazing mother to have had such a loving son. No matter how crazy other's acted he never let it bring him down and kept a smile for you.

Sue, Dave, Missy Sue, Lori and families. Our hearts go out to you on the loss of your mother/grandmother. We will never forget all the good times that were shared when your parents were living with you. They touched our hearts, and will be greatly missed.
I was so blessed to be able to see you again last year, during my visit to the states. You will truly be missed especially by Sue, Dave, Missy Sue and her children. They loved and cared for you deeply. You also were a good friend to Clifford. My prayers go out to Missy Sue and her family during their time of sorrow.
