Michael K. Houston's Obituary
Michael K. Houston, 53 of Thomson, IL, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus. Services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8PM, Monday, March 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery.

Michael was born January 24, 1962 in Memphis, TN, the son of James F. and Marilyn J. (Turner) Houston. He was a US Navy veteran. Michael married Cindy Jessen on November 28, 1992 in Clinton.
He had been employed as the Engine Room Supervisor at Tyson Foods for the past 13 years.
Survivors include his wife Cindy of Thomson, IL; sons, Christopher Foster of Springfield, OR and Jeremy (Becca) Wilkens of Clinton, IA; grandchildren, Katelyn Wilkens, Kaylee Wilkens, Ambur Vaught, Stephanie Foster, Brandon Foster and Shawn Foster; brother James (Brenda) Houston of Mayflower, AR; sister, Wendy Dalton of Cleveland, OH and his family at Tyson Foods.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Bruce Houston and father-in-law, Robert Jessen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
