I worked with mike for 4 1/2 years, he was a great boss but an even greater friend. I am gonna miss him making fun of my neon green rims, and telling me how "i could do anything on my last day." I have never met a nicer guy I never seen him get angry or even irritated even when I called him at 3am with an issue while stating "Houston we have a problem" Already miss you mike, the engine room wont be the same without you....Oh yea and guess what you were right it is another little baby girl.

Mike was such a great guy to work with. His life was cut short way too soon. He loved his wife and his family. My prayers go out to his family at this time. Mike, may you rest in peace and we will see you again in time.

Our heartfelt sympathies to Mike's family . We here at WBC Mechanical had worked with Mike since he started at Tyson . A very humble man , and so proud of his grandchildren , he once emailed a picture of him and the kids fishing. Whenever he would call , he would always ask how you were doing and you knew he was so sincere about it and really cared how you felt. Hard to imagine that we will not hear that calm voice on the phone asking for service when the boiler goes down . We will truly miss him and we will keep his family in our prayers .

My condolences to Cindy and the rest of Mike's family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I worked with Mike for 8 years in the Engine Room. He was a good boss and a great friend. I'll miss the times we had together. I'll never forget some of your fishing stories you told us with your father-in-law. If anyone else told them I would not believe them. I'm sure I'll still be a good laugh telling some. Good times.
I'll miss talking with you about different foods and BBQ. Amy said she'll miss making you ham and beans with a side of corn bread. Hopefully you can now sit down with Dale, Davey, and Alan and have some. No Polish victory laps though.

My condolences to the family of Mike Houston. Mike and I went trough training together at Tyson. I always enjoyed our chats that we had from time to time. Mike would always make time to say hi, talk to me, or answer any questions that I had. He was one of the good guys and was taken much too soon. He will surely be missed.
