Bonnie
Maxine was an amazing woman. She was my dance teacher from the time I was 4 until I graduated from high school. She also assisted me with my dance performance for my participation in the Miss Clinton County contest in 1978. I feel honored to have had the chance to visit her just last summer at Mount Alverno. At the age of 102, she was still sharp as a tack! Remembered me, my mom and told me all about St. Louis when she learned that is where I now live. I give her credit for my sense of balance and rhythm and my ability to teach group exercise in my mid-sixties. I am humbled to think I am but one of probably thousands of young lives she touched. Go ahead Miss Maxine, dance your way across Heaven's door!
