Marian Fowler's Obituary
Marian E. Fowler, 80, of Camanche, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Services will be at 11:00am with Dennis Glew and Paul Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bradley Fowler; Brenton Fowler; Gregory Fowler; Charles Gifford, Kerry Morehead, and Rick Bull. A luncheon at the First Baptist Church in Camanche will follow the committal service at the cemetery. Marian Elizabeth Bull was born on February 12, 1932 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Wilson and Dorothy (Hall) Bull. She was a 1950 graduate of Clinton High School and also attended and graduated from Clinton Community College in 1984. She was employed as a clerk with Medical Associates for over 24 years. She was also employed with Bull Cattle Company, New York Life Insurance Company and Piedmont Physicians Group in Atlanta. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camanche. She enjoyed visiting her grandsons in Georgia, fishing, riding her bike, needlepoint and reading. She also enjoyed camping and boating. She is survived by her son: Carey (Lori) Fowler of Powder Springs, Georgia; and three grandchildren: Bradley, Brenton, and Gregory Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother: James Bull. Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
