Marian was such a good friend to our mom Pearl Hawkins. They supported each other like family and we always appreciated Marian's being there for Mom. We were so glad to get to know her. I remember meeting Marian at one of our Easter dinners years ago and then going with the two of them later to the meal site just down the street from Mom's. I know the two of them, along with other beloved Camanche friends, are finally together again. Funny, but Mom always called her Mariam so we did too. With sympathy, Karen

Knowing that Marian is now with God has to be a blessing for the family. She was so ill for such a long period of time....yet she handled it so well., As a Mercy Auxiliary Volunteer at Cafe' Night, I had the honor of serving her food and tea on Thursday nights. I reamember her so well from high school and our many class reunions. Go with God, Marian.

Marian's dear family, I so enjoyed being a neighbor of Marian's for many years.I enjoyed her wit, her love of her yard and plants, and her caring ways with the ones around her. Her health was always a concern to her. Now she is now without pain. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother/mother-in-law. I still fondly remember playing basketball in her driveway in high school and seeing her in the stands at our junior high basketball games. Always friendly and happy to see us. I hope the years have been good for you both and that your family is healty.

It was a pleasure to meet and chat with Marian while under our care at Mercy. My mom is Margaret(Atkinson) Stoecken and my Grandnpa Bill used to work for Marian's dad. I got to exchange photos with her of my family now and her family. She says my mom looks exactly like my grandma Nonie.It sure is a small world when people take the time to listen. It was wonderful. May she rest and peace with god with no suffering. Thought and prayers to her family.
