Margery R. Benning, 88, of DeWitt, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at West Wing Place in DeWitt. Memorial Services will be held at the DeWitt Lutheran Fellowship Church on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Paul L Read Obituary
We were saddened to hear of Aunt Marg's passing.
We have many fond memories of the visits we shared with Marg which included our deceased mother(Lucille Steward)who was Margery's first cousin.
We will remember her as a sweet,loving Christian lady and we feel blessed to have had her in our lives.

One of the greatest things about Margery is that she remained spiritually hungry up until the very end. She told me a few years ago that she felt like the LORD wanted her to learn to play the organ, even though she was so young. As a result, her heart was open to MORE from the LORD and she didn't block out new truth, even if it contradicted her traditions. She was always grateful for any visits or any interest, and always was so kind and humble. My life is richer for knowing her!
