Lowell Alvin Rasmussen, 79, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Mercy Living Center- North, Clinton. Services will be held 2PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until the service hour Wednesday. Lowell was born June 28, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Cecil A. and Helen V. (Hinds) Rasmussen. He was educated in the Clinton Schools. Lowell had been employed at the Skyline Center and in food service in Clinton. He enjoyed model trains and anything to do with trains.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina “Chris” (Rich) Foley of Clinton, IA; son, Jerry Rasmussen of Clinton, IA; four grandchildren, William Trevor (Hannah) Schutte, Amber Marie (Alan) Pulido, Tiffany Hope Foley and Jonathan Thomas Foley; great-grandchildren, Alyson, William and Anakin and his sister, Donna Sill of Waukesha, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carroll.
