Louella M. Rose's Obituary
Louella M. Rose, 79, of Camanche passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Fieldstone in DeWitt.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm (Noon), Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Camanche Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ely Norris, Jaxon Bussa, Drake Sachsenmaier, Marly Bussa, Josh Cramer, Matt Cramer and Bart Cramer. Louella Mae Null was born on January 1, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin “Jack” and Grace (Wiebers) Null. She was a 1963 graduate of Camanche High School. She worked for International Paper for 33 1/2 years and then worked in the kitchen at Clinton High School for 6 1/2 years.
Lou was a member of the Baptist Church in Camanche, she loved all animals especially her dogs. She enjoyed dancing to music and listening to the Oak Ridge Boys. Lou loved trips to the casino and she always won at bingo. She never knew a stranger and was always known as Aunt Lou, she never had her own children and was such an important person to her nieces and nephews.
Lou is survived by two sisters: Pamela Norris of Clinton and Jackie (Tim) Sachsenmaier of Camanche; nieces and nephews: Denny Greve, Rozanne Murphy, Michelle Sikkema, Lori Techau, Ryan Norris, Tricia O’Neill, Jessica Bussa, Zachary Sachsenmaier and Troy Sachsenmaier; and several step-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Donald Null, Robert Null and Delores “Sis” Greve.
