Lorna N. Lehmkuhl, 74, of Camanche passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at MercyOne – Clinton.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Private burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Lorna Nadine Heath was born October 3, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Geraldine (Perryman) Heath. She attended Clinton Schools. She married Arnold Lehmkuhl on March 3, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa.
Lorna was a homemaker and took pride in keeping her home top notch by doing every chore daily. She loved traveling old gravel roads as a younger gal with her sister, camping with her husband and kids, bird watching, watching the National Geographic and Animal planet channel and listening to her favorite country and western music.. Shhhh, be quiet because this is her song so no talking unless you were singing along… She especially loved her husband and kids. In her eyes, they did no wrong and don't you say otherwise. She is going to be greatly missed...
She is survived by her husband Arnold Lehmkuhl of Camanche; 7 children: Bridgett (Danny Beasley) Conklin of Clinton, Bryan (Robin) Babcock of Camanche, Brad Babcock of Clinton, Gerrie Babcock of Clinton, Katrina (Will Broge) Lehmkuhl of Gratiot, Wisconsin, Arnie (Rebecca) Lehmkuhl of Clinton and Cory Lehmkuhl of Camanche; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings: Fonda Jones, Barbara Densmore, Lawrence Heath, Bonnie Bruggenwirth, Becky Newmarch, Brenda Heath and Kandy Green; and many nieces and nephews.
Lorna was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the family and the family would like to extend a thank you to Mercy One and the staff for caring for and looking after mom during her stay.
