Linda S. Kramer, 76, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at St. Lukes – Cedar Rapids surrounded by her loving family.

Linda Sue Logan was born on July 28, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of William and Daisy (Barnes) Logan. She was a 1966 graduate of Camanche High School. She married Thomas Kramer on March 6, 1983, in Clinton.
Linda held many jobs in her very decorated career. She was a force to be reckoned with in the business world. Starting at a very young age working at the roller rink and then moving on to her next job working for her hardest boss, her dad, at Daisy Donuts. This is where she found her niche and would acquire her entrepreneur drive to eventually be the powerhouse businesswoman she would become. Linda served on many boards: City Council , Kids First Academy. She was a daycare provider. A bookkeeper for many places. However by far, her biggest professional highlight in her career would be owning and Operating Kramer’s Salsa and seeing her vision come to life with her salsa being sold on store shelves nationwide and in local restaurants and gift shops. Her work ethic was unmatched. She encouraged and inspired her children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams and assured them that with hard work, a positive attitude and dedication anything is possible.
Her heart was a giving one. The legacy she will leave behind is that it is much better to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was not only generous in life, but in death as a donor. She loved reading, sitting by the ocean, watching the waves come in, relaxing, watching Hallmark movies and you would often see her enjoying a Diet Coke with two foam cups and a lot of ice.
But her greatest joy and where she was the most happy is with her family. She absolutely loved and adored them. They will miss her nurturing nature, the Sunday night dinners where she made the best food, cooked for an army and welcomed all to her dinner table. She was right there always. She loved fiercely, was there when you needed her the most, offering support, words of wisdom and love in abundance. She will be missed immensely by all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration and has been the ultimate role model. Being a grandma and then a Great Grandma was her highest honor. She was so proud. She was a true embodiment of strength and grace. Her life is marked by her fierce dedication to her family and loved ones and the passion for her work. She was the best mother, grandmother, cherished wife, sister and friend. Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, and we will miss her with everything that we have.
Linda is survived by her husband: Thomas of Clinton; her children: Jennifer (Jeremy) Castro of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, Shane Edwards of Clinton; her step-daughter: Chlorissa (Dan) Sims of Green Bay, Wisconsin; her grandchildren: Olivia Vogel, Evan Vogel, Emmey Vogel, Alayna Vogel, Cobretti Castro, Carmendee Castro, and Christian Castro, Savanah (Richard) Ericksen and Sydney Edwards and Sophie Sims; her great-grandson: Graham Chisholm; her siblings: Judi Chapman of Redfield, Iowa, Cinda Wolfe of Camanche, and Brenda Dunmore of Camanche and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Joyce.
