I knew Laura through our love of sewing. She was a very special person and one who I would have liked to know even better. I remember her face lighting up when she would speak of her family, especially her nieces. Laura had the gift of being a good listener, which is very rare. I remember her sharing with me several months ago about her disease and prognosis, but with a very positive attitude. She was one of those people who you couldn't help liking. I will miss her. My sympathy goes to the family with a special hug for Sandy. Take care of yourself. Love, Linda Ebersole
My Dearest Laura, do you remember when we first met in kindergarten at Jefferson School? We decided then that we would get married when we grew up. As so often happens, time and life circumstances led us to take different paths even throughout junior high school, high school and beyond. I wanted you to to know that even though our paths never crossed again, I will always have that memory of you. Wheneve I heard mention of your name I would always smile because of that memory that happened so long ago. I am so very sorry that you had to face this cruel disease. None of that will ever make sense. The only thing that does make sense is that your long battle on this earth is over and you now share that victory over death with the one who long ago defeated it for all our sakes. So my prayer for you is that you rest well in the loving arms of God who will hold you fast until that day when we meet again. Well done good and faithful servant! May God grant you eternal rest.

so sorry for your loss. I remember Laura when I taught her in Sunday School.
Laura, growing up your smile would brighten up the room. As an adult I love stopping in at Clinton Decoy for the great smile
