Ellen Schoo
Everyone who knew Joyce came away a better person. She was generous, kind, thoughtful of others, thourough about matters, and found something positive through the pain of family losses. We spent a great deal of time assisting her with home projects which she worried about daily. We chuckle at the memory of the trapped raccoons. Early A. M. calls were to take a trapped raccoon north and release it. After number 15, we brought our trap home!
I thank her for the connection I have with her dear friends, Carly, Peggy, Lonnie, and Betty. Such special people who understood Joyce for all the concerns of her heart.
Joyce and I had many touching moments discussing Bible passages. She dearly loved hearing the calming verses of Jesus saying, "Do not be afraid." Her greatest concerns were for her sons. Now she doesn't grieve any longer. Let us REJOICE she was victorious to the end, conquering the pangs of death with the gift of living forever through Christ Jesus.
We will miss her very much.
