Josephine “Josey” L. Hansen, 88, of Camanche died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, October 7, 2011 at St. Mark’s Methodist Church in Camanche. Visitation will be Read Obituary

Josey was one of the most likeable sweet ladies that I have had the honor of meeting. My deepest sympathy to the Hansen family.
I will never forget Josey and Fred Hansen. I grew up in Camanche and I thought they were a wonderful love story. I know she's at peace with her Fred and other folks from Camanche that went before her. I have fond memories of her.

I was sorry and saddened to hear the passing of your Mom. Josey and my Mom were like sisters and the memory of our families go back as far as I can remember.

Jeff, Stve, and Lori---your mother was such a wonderful person. You are blessed to have great memories and so much time with her. My mother talked of roller skating around Camanche with Josie when they were young girls. Dad loved isiting with her - I think they when to Clinton High School together, not many went on beyond the 10th grade that Camanche had back then.
