Denice and Zona we are thinking of you and your families today. We have many good memories of Joe. It was special times when he and your mom would come to visit in Council Bluffs. He would say the trip seemed short if they could get a good argument going! He as joking of course,

We are most glad for his faithful example in living for Truth. That can be a source of encouragement in this time of losing him. Makes me want to just be ready for the end of my days too.

Had a lot of fun times at Uncle Joe and Aunt Bev’s house. One time Uncle Joe got a different vehicle and my dad and I looked at it. He had put Band-Aids over some of the bad spots. Lol! Always enjoyed Uncle Joe singing with my mom. Lots of good memories.

Joe and Bev had one of those open, inspiring homes in my very early days ~ one that isn’t forgotten! And later, it was always so nice to see him and Betty Jo join us again, in our gathering, from Oregon! He will, indeed, be missed ~ but fondly remembered.

I have very fond memories of traveling to Uncle Joe's home in Dubuque with Mom, Dad and my brother, along with U. Joe's brothers & sisters (and families) for a wonderful meal. Besides playing in the woods (which seemed like a giant forest at the time) I have vivid memories of listening to the piano, singing hymns and yodeling! It was so amazing and beautiful. I loved those visits.

Wonderful memories of Joe and Beverly and their faithfulness in their little meeting in Dubuque! Being good friends with Zona and Denice growing up....and their grandchildren being good friends with our children! Have known the Eicher family since a child and some of our favorite memories are meeting with them in Union meeting at Clarence and Lizzy VanNettas. Wonderful memories!
