We extend our deepest symphathy to all the family. Reading his own story of his life we realized that John had a remarkable life. He was a well educated man and had a variety of interests. It was great o see him a few years ago while we were in Clinton. We

I am so happy that I was able to visit with John in November. I hope his passing was peaceful and he felt reconciled with his life. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am sorry to hear of John's death. I knew him at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport. He was a valued member of the Acquisition and Exhibition Committee that I chaired. John gifted many works of art to the Figge over several years time. I enjoyed this interesting and generous man, and will make a contribution to the Figge in John's memory.
