Johnny has been a wonderful brother in L' Arche. We had pillow fights and tickled each other's feet in the living room of Arch 3. We went for walks to buy muffin mixes and pop, attended church, and joined Special Olympics events. On Easter Sunday, after we prayed together in the living room, Johnny shouted with out "Jesus alive!" So many good memories. ~James Schreiner
I didn’t know John well but he made me feel special every time our paths would cross at some L’Arch community event by giving me a kiss on the cheek and a hug. The world lost a bright soul but heaven gained an even brighter angel.
Oh Johnny how we love you so. We made so many good memories. Your love for Subway, Elvis, Dance, Music, and cake. I’m sure George and Victor met you. Love Marcy and big Papa
Growing up with Johnny will always hold a special spot in my heart.
I remember John's mother; she was a friend of my mother, Colette Hohenhorst McCarthy, who also lived on Beaver Island. I remember when she told me some years ago, how she that he was at the Arch.

Johnny will certainly be missed immensely!! He always made people smile with his Elvis dances. I remember him saying, “I have two kings, Elvis and Jesus!” Praying for his Arch family.

I meat johny in2010 at arch 3.we hit it off from day one great guy and told me he was Elvis i shook his hand and was like im percilla nice too see you again.he never called me by my real name brandie always percilla...he has been missed in my heart since i left clinton....praying for yall at the arch love cares and blessings to every one...
