Sorry to hear about your loss. She was a good mother & friend.
How fondly we remember JoAnn from our days of living in Clinton and attending Clinton Church of Christ. Please accept our deepest sympathy. JoAnn will be missed by all. God has a beautiful new angel with him now....Rick and Sandy Fore
I met Mrs. Thielen many years ago as I was growing up in Camanche. I wanted to express my sympathy to the Thielen family, especially Bart, Jared, and Amber who I was friends with while attending Camanche Schools. I remember your mom as a very kind lady with a bright smile. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

i just wanted to say that JoAnn "Sparky" was a terrific woman. I knew her while I worked at Enterprise. I was the "substitute" driver caller and whenever I had a "sticky" situation to take care of, she was one of the first ones I could call.... She rarely turned down the opportunity to drive and always was bringing in "goody bags" for the employees.
But the thing I will remember most is that SMILE/GIGGLE... I can still see it now. She could light up a room w/ that smile!!!!!!!! During this sad time, remember that. It could turn any frown upside down. I know, I saw it happen over and over at work. Your mom/wife had that SPARK.
I'm so sorry to hear that JoAnn has passed away.
I first met JoAnn through our sons, Roger and Jared when they first moved to Baraboo, WI. We soon became best friends. Lori Willyoung was another one of them and we were three sisters in Christ. Even though we only saw each other a few times after we moved from Baraboo, we could always pick up the phone and talk for hours. She was a wonderful and trusting friend. She really loved her family and it was fun to hear all the news of what all of you were doing and all of your moves. My deepest sympathy to you, Gene, and all of the family. I am so thankful that I talked to her a few days before you went back to CO. I will really miss not being able to talk with her again but we are assured by God that through His Son we will be able to be together again. I am so sorry that I can't be up there but you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Judy and Paul Williams
