Our prayers are with your family.
Connie & Barb: You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. I have such fond memories of being together at church and church functions, and the many sleep-overs at your house. Your parents always made everyone feel so welcome. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.....
Barb, Connie - So sorry to learn of your loss. We remember the many bridge games & other good times with your parents.

Barb and family, as you go to the next chapter in your families lives, you will certainly be in my prayers. So hard to let go of another parent, but God gives the strength needed. Just know you are loved.
My thoughts go out to the entire family during this time of loss. I always looked forward seeing he and Bev at the golf course.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. While I was home seeing your father on sunday mornings at coffee hour was one of the high lights of my week. He's a great man, and we will all miss him. But it does bring a smile to my face as I can picture him now, walking the back 9 with your mother at his side.
I met Jerry when he was first dealing with diabetes shortly after his wife passed. I was impressed at his persistence in getting healthy and I was dismayed when he was dealt the next blow to his health. Jerry served on our Community Advisory Board for our diabetes program and provided a number of insights due to his work skills and his motivation to help others with diabetes.
What a pleasure to have had the gift of knowing him.
My condolences to all who will miss him.
Dear Dee, Barb, and family;
We want to express our sincere sympathy on the death of your father and grandfather. Barb, your dad is a fine example of a positive influence in the lives of his grandchildren. They often spoke of grandpa and where he was traveling or where he was taking them on a trip. Along with that, he spent many an hour sitting on the bleachers at Unity proudly watching them play sports or performing in school activities. What a tribute of love and support so often absent in the lives of children. Isn't that what our lives are all about? Leaving a legacy of love and care for the next generation; exactly what the Bible says is our goal in following the example of Jesus.
Although you will all miss him dearly, take comfort in the fact that he has heard the call of his Saviour: "Well done, good and faithful servant. Join me in your eternal rest."
Sincerely,
Alan and Cheryl Hoekstra
