Jim was a great man and a great friend. He will be sorely missed. I have spent much of the past few days reminiscing with others about Jim and have found that his positive impact on us all was much broader than I ever anticipated. All I can say is thanks to God for letting me at least a little part of Jim's life. God Bless.
i new jim from the clinton lumber kings he will really be missed a lot.
After sharing memories of Jim over the past couple of days, I think we all realized how much Jim really made an impact on our lives and how much he will be missed. Although I only worked for Jim at the Lumberkings for two seasons, it is clear that the staff and the organization will not be the same without him a part of it. Thank you Jim for all of your hard work and dedication! The Lumberkings family and friends will never forget it. We will miss you!
Jim was a good person. The Lumberking family and friends will never fotget Jim. Jim and Gary always talked about there baseball card collection that they both have. Jim will be miss from the Lumberkings and Eagles Club.
As high school classmates Jim and I had many good times listening to the Beatles, singing folk songs while he played the guitar, playing poker on Friday nights with Ed Kross, Chuck Warren, Jim Krienbring and Steve Witt. His family lived across the street from my grandparents so we had many times playing in the acreage behind is house. He was a good guy. I hope his death wasn't painful.

I remember the double dates and group dates from those days in high school.
Jim was a part of our circle of friends
then.
We were looking forward to renewing our
friendship when we move back to the Clinton area.
My condolences to all of you.
I was shocked to learn of Jim's passing while attending the Hot Stove League banquet Saturday night. We had developed a very meaningful relationship over the past 10 years at the ball park. We traded cards and talked baseball. He was very gracious to me and would save me premiums if I was unable to get to a game. Most recently he was working on a baseball history of Clinton and I lent him a 3 I League stat book to help him. He was looking forward to the upcoming All Star Game and we talked a lot about his scorecard that he was designing. I plan to purchase a brick to be placed in front of the park in his memory. I will truly miss Jim.
