Dear Morhardt family:
Your former school/church family at St. John's in Okabena is thinking of you and praying that God would give you strength in this difficult time. We pray that some of the things we taught Jacob about God's love and salvation through faith in Christ alone stayed with him by the grace of God through what remained of his life.
I knew just Jacob, Jared, Sierra, and Allix through them being at school, and Rodney as their dad, and that Dayton was the little one at the time. May God bless and keep you all.
I love you Jake, you'll always be in my heart. I have so many memories.

its been along time sence i have last talked to or seen jake. i jsut wanted to say sorry to hear that he has passed and sorry i wasent able to make it to the visitation
It seems like such a short time ago that Jacob and his little family were in my office. He was trying so hard to be the man of the family, even though he was so young. May the Lord of heaven and earth hold you all close as you grieve the loss of your Jacob.
You are so loved and missed. Lexi is too young to understand, but will know the great man you were! I know you will always look over her. You will NEVER be forgotten! We are all so heartbroken! God Bless Jacob!!!

I just didn't believe it when I was told. I had to make sure we were both talking about the same person. I knew Jake had been in trouble before but I thought he was finally getting his priorities straight and becoming the young man you had always expected him to be. I am so sorry to hear that he is gone. Just know that he is now watching over you and he will keep all of you as safe as he can until it is your time to be with him. Hey, he is now hanging out with Gmpa Morhardt! If he gets into any trouble up there Gmpa will set him straight! Hugs and prayers to help you all get through this trying time.
