Ida D. Callahan, 93, of Camanche died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center - North Campus in Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Read Obituary
Kay and her family, so sorry to hear of your dear Mother's death. It is so sad to see that generation leave us. But I am sure you have some wonderful memories to comfort you at this time. And just know that your friends will be praying for your family to have peace at this tough time. Mary

Grandma was one Special Lady. The dash between her birth and her death there is so much to be admired.She has taught me how to put others first. She was a friend to all.She always made sure we were all taken care of. She sure did love her garage sales and loved to talk to everyone that stopped in.She would even go to other garage sales to shop for us if we made mention of something we needed.Her quik wit will always be remembered, she always had something funny to share.I will always remember her smile and the sparkle in her eyes when we would come and see her. Grandma would take the Great Grandkids to the Shriner's Circus every year at the Clinton Ball Stadium and then out for pizza. I think she enjoyed it more than the kids, but then again Grandma always seamed to be a kid herslf.Thank you for showing me what a Grandma should be and your Prayers, unconditional love and support. I thank God for giving us our memories because you will live on in all of us.I can't wait to see you in Heaven the promise we have in Christ Jesus. Love you Gram with all my heart. Kay
IDA WAS A WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR! MY CHILDREN ALWAYS LOVED TO GO AND VISIT WITH HER, AND SHE ALWAYS BOUGHT WHATEVER THE SCHOOL HAD THEM SELLING.
SUCH A KIND HEART THAT WILL BE SADLY MISSED IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!
