We were friends of Gilbert's and knew him while he was at Park Towers. When Shirley fell last winter, Gilbert was always there to find out if there was anything he could for her. He was a good friend and will be missed a great deal. Roberta and Sharon are friends of Shirley's that got to know Gilbert when they would come down to the apartments. He was always happy to see us and made us feel welcome. We will miss him too.
I will miss Gilbert very much. He was always friendly and kind. Gilbert had a love for all things John Wayne! He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to Gilbert's family and friends. Sincerely, Mary Stopher
Gilbert often came into my store to visit. Sometimes he would ask me to make a small repair on a coat or jacket. Often he brought me some candy. What he always brought was a ray of sunshine. I will miss him terribly.
Gilbert always went out of his way to say hello or just a friendly wave. No matter where we were working(ServiceMaster of Clinton) he would stop to see how things were going for us. He shared our love of the West and horses and rodeo. We will miss him. The Jackson's
