Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. You have my condolences. How strange it seems that both of our brothers died and will have their funerals on the same day, at the same time. Please know that the Benson family will be thinking of you on Saturday, wishing we could be there for you. Mary

Joyce: I'm so sorry about the death of your brother, Gary. Didn't know him well, but I know you will miss your big brother very much! He's left a hole in the world.

My father was a brother of Gary's father. I knew his parents well, but as he was several years younger, I only really remember him as a little boy. He was delightfully full of energy and highjinks! We laughed at and with him many times.
Since he apparently had an interest in horses, and I am a long-time volunteer at a therapeutic riding center, I will be making a donation to "Miracles in Motion" in Swisher, IA, in his honor.
