She was also survived by her sister in law Janet Gluesing who was with the family in the process of hospice and her niece Susie who was also along her side. Thank you both for your continuing support. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her. She was a wonderful sweet lady. I wouldn't ever had a mother if she hadn't chose to love me. Thank you Mom for that and I love you dearly and will miss you so much. Rest well until Jesus comes for you!
I was blessed to be Elaine's pastor for the last two years. She longed to be in Heaven with Jesus, and He rescued her from this place of suffering and sadness. She suffered with health problems, and with a hard life, and yet she was confident that when she died, she would be taken to be with Jesus. She died in this hope, and will be raised from the dead on the Day of the Resurrection.
She is proof positive that suffering produces character, and character produces hope.
"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
Romans 5:3-5 ESV
Elaine is not an angel, nor is she watching over us. She is with Jesus, and has shed her last tear, and suffered for the last time.
Thanks be to God!
So sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. I always enjoyed being her hairdresser, we had alot of fun over the years. Thinking of you all.
