There will never be another Doug, Ever. He will be greatly missed.❤️
Worked with Doug over the years in different roles. As it has been said many times, he always made the time with him "interesting". He made the time go by quicker on the graveyard shift with his friendly ribbing or silly banter at 3 A.M. Or it could be an explanation about his latest purchase of a knife or watch. Maybe a saying or phrase of some aspect about life that really stuck with you.All these things and more, made him the Doug Orte we all knew.R.I.P Doug!

Doug was one of those people that brings a smile to your face whenever you think of him. I worked with Doug for many years, and he could carry on an intelligent, respectful conversation on ANY subject without any arrogance or hidden agenda. Doug was one of the most unique people I have ever met, and I mean that in nothing but a positive way. Doug will be fondly remembered by everyone that crossed his path in his 76 years!
I spent many fun days and nights with Doug. Golfing, bowling, socializing, and telling gut-busting hilarious stories! Doug ALWAYS made me laugh! Doug was, truly, “one-of-a-kind”! I’ve never met anyone that had the social conversational abilities that Doug possessed! He would meet complete strangers and, within 10 minutes, they were acting as if they had been friends for years! Doug had a huge knowledge base, on a vast variety of topics! I absolutely LOVED Doug! I cherish the memories he has given me and the “Doug Orte Stories” will live on…forever! I cannot ever pick up a golf club without fondly thinking back to the days of sharing a round of golf (and soooo much laughter) with Doug! God bless you, Doug. And may God bless and comfort his family and friends.
Doug was my cousin...We had not seen each other for many years. My father, John Parchen, was his Mother's brother. We played together when we were kids and memories of our childhood are remembered today. Condolences to the family. He was special. Bonnie Carlson
