Don was a gentle soul who was a good colleague to work with and for at Sabin. I appreciated him always being willing to listen and his care for the children. I would always move my counselor mail box and he would always put it in a different place that he thought looked better. I chuckled over that cute little habit of his. May God comfort your family at this time of grief. Ken Fate
As a child and then a neighbor, he was always Mr Overland. A kind an gentle man..so very enjoyable to be around. And a great Iowa Hawkeye fan! Blessings to his kids and grand children in this time of loss. Dave Papritz
Don was a great colleague and supporter of Clinton Community Schools. He also supported Kiwanis by placing those breakfast tickets in your pocket and saying " you can pay me later," Lots of fond memories of Don at principals' meetings. My sympathy to all.
We Are Saddened To Hear Of Don's Passing And Our Deepest Sympathy Goes Out To His Family. We First Met Don 15 Years Ago On A Cruise To Hawaii And Formed A Lasting Friendship. We Visited Him Several Times In Scottsdale And Communicated By Telephone On A Regular Basis. We Last Spoke To Don In September Shortly After He Had Come Home From The Hospital. Don Was A True Gentleman And We Have Found Memories Of Him. Rest In Peace Don! Brian & Ruth Ryder
