David E. Nance's Obituary
David E. Nance, 54, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his home.
A Funeral Mass will be 11:00am, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Church of the Visitation. A private burial will be Wednesday at the Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth, Illinois. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
David Eugene Nance was born on December 4, 1968 in Clinton, the son of Donald and Marge (Roseland) Nance. He was a 1987 graduate of Clinton High School and also Coe College with a degree in massage therapy. He married Kimberly Conley on February 16, 1991 in Camanche.
David was employed with Eagles grocery store, Silver Creek Cleaning, Per Mar Security, as a cook at Mt. Saint Claire, and Gateway Supply. He enjoyed bowling and participated in the Sunday Sundowners mixed league, listening to music, watching movies, ceramics, crocheting, and most of all spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife Kim of Clinton; three sons: Justin (Sierra Franzen) Nance of Clinton, Steven (Lee Culler) Nance of Cherokee, North Carolina, and Austin Nance of Clinton; his parents: Don and Marge Nance of Clinton; his sister: Donna (Dar Stoll) Hines of Clinton; his-mother-in-law: Becky Conley of Clinton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father-in-law, and a special aunt Pat Nance.
