Daniel Shaff's Obituary
Daniel A. Shaff, 61, of Camanche, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, January 9, 2007 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Glew officiating. Burial will be in the Shafton Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Camanche VFW.
Daniel Atwood Shaff was born on December 19, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Paul and Myrna (Strohbehn) Shaff.
Dan was a 1966 graduate of Clinton High School and attended Scott Community College. He was at veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1967-1971.
Dan was employed with Equistar for over 22 years in the shipping and packaging department, retiring in 2002.
Dan is survived by two daughters: Mandy (Brad) Reynolds of Loves Park, Illinois and Korine (Brad) Clark of Clinton; ten grandchildren: Marc, Catie, Christian, Cole and Isabelle Reynolds, and Jeffery and Alyssa Doyle, Brendan, Dawn, and Jessica Clark; his father: Paul Shaff of Camanche, two brothers: Jonathan (Linda) Shaff of Clinton, and Sam Shaff of Camanche; one nephew and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother.
