No longer being an employee at Remington's, I just learned of Dan's passing through a mutual friend. I was so shocked as Dan was always a good friend. John and I would like to express our condolences to Sam, Jennifer and the rest of the family. God be with you all.

Dear Daniel Shaff Family,
I would like to extend my sincere sympathies on the loss of your father, grandfather, brother and son.
I did not have the pleasure of ever having met Dan, but he and I had emailed each other on occasion last winter. He talked fondly of his daughters and grandchildren and the last time I talked to him he was just leaving on a trip to Florida with some of the family members.
He also talked of the birds and nature around his home. He took pride in having served in the Air Force and his job at EquiStar and of his firefighting skills at his place of work.
I am sorry for your loss. In time,I hope you will be able to look back at memories with fondness; not sadness.
I'm sure that you will always keep him close in your hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. He used to come into Kelly's when I worked there & we would talk all the time. He was such a nice person, again I am very sorry.
