I met Chuck & Izetta Bokenkroger when attending USS CUMMINGS ship reunions in the early 2000s. My father, Jim Cox, was also aboard the USS CUMMINGS in WW2. Both he & I enjoyed meeting with Chuck, Izetta and others at those ship reunions. Chuck & Izetta were wonderful people.
Charlie was one of journeymen at Alcoa while was going through my apprenticeship in the Electrical Department. He made me a yellow tool box with daisies on it. I still have the box!!!
Charlie was a very personal guy and always had a smile. He will be sorely missed.
