Charles F. Bedford, 90, of DeWitt passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home.

Charles Frances Bedford was born March 10, 1932 in Eldon, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Hazel (Kildow) Bedford. He married Maxine (Tharp) on December 31, 1954; she passed away on February 12, 1999. He worked for more than 20 years at John Deere in Moline and before that for John Morrell & Company Meat Packing plant in Ottumwa. He enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and time spent with his family and friends.
Charles is survived by his three daughters: Cathy Byers of DeWitt, Terri Bedford of DeWitt and Sandra Jahn of Camanche; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; companion of 20 years Jeanne Bedford; and one sister: Betty Adler of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one son Mark Bedford in 2015,one grandson Bradley Byers in 1989, five brothers and two sisters.
