Catherine Alt's Obituary
Catherine M. Alt, 84, of Clinton, died Friday, January 18, 2008, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:30am, Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory with Chaplain Bruce McNeely officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time at the funeral home.
Catherine Mae Ytsen was born on July 4, 1923 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Harriet (Judd) Ytsen. She married LaVerne H. Alt on December 15, 1943 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton; he later died August 4, 1980.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son: Jack Alt and Alan Sedlacek of Davenport, Iowa; a daughter: Donna (Roger) Ketelsen of Fulton,Illinois; two grandchildren: Jason (Liz) Alt and Brandon Alt; three great-grandchildren: Sabrina, Nicholas, Lauren Alt; two brothers: Bruce Ytsen of Clinton and W. Jack (Frances) Ytsen of Clinton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister: Helen Jensen.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
