Jack,
I heard today from Dennis of your mother's passing. Mary and I extend our condolences to you and your family. We will be thinking of you during this difficult time.
I would like to convey my sympathy to you in the loss of your loved one. I didn't know Catherine personally, but I do understand the pain of losing one so close to you. I lost my father and then my brother. We found much comfort in reading the scriptures,as I'm sure you do also. I just wanted to share with you a few of my favorites, one is found in Psalm 34:18,here it reassures us that we are not alone, more so at a time like this. In John 11:11,14-44 we read of a wonderful experience of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus. We can only imagine the tears of joy when all that were gathered there heard Jesus call out in a loud voice,"Lazarus, come forth!" and before their very eyes,Lazarus walked toward them from his memorial tomb.We too will experience such joy when John 5:25,28 is fulfilled.
Cherish the fond memories, and keep them close to your hearts, pass on the things you learned from knowing her and pass it on to others and her legacy will live on in you and those you share her life with.
Please extend my condolences to those who knew Catherine.
