Carol Jean Sattler Klinefelter's Obituary
Carol J. Klinefelter, 78, of Clinton passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at MercyOne-Clinton.
A Celebration of Life gathering and visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory with a sharing of memories at 6:30 pm. Carol Jean Tracy was born March 23, 1944 in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Thelman and Alberta (Edwards) Tracy. She attended Maquoketa High School. She will be remembered for her many years as a Wal-Mart greeter. She worked as a cook at Porky's and Plaza Truck Stop. She earned her CNA certificate and worked at Harbor Crest in Fulton and Wyndcrest Nursing Home in Clinton. Carol Jean loved nothing more than her children and was very proud of them, she enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends and the laughter and joy they brought to her life.
She is survived by her five children: Debra Peltier of Cody, Wyoming, Steven Sattler of Astoria, Oregon, Judy (Bryan) Price of Scottsdale, Arizona, James (Megan) Sattler of Crystal River, Florida and William (Kristy) Sattler of Clinton; grandchildren: Amber (Valentin) Price, Tyler Collins, Devan Sattler, Carter Sattler, Andrew Sattler, Conner Sattler, Camryn Sattler, Carryn Sattler, Cambyl Sattler and Casidy Sattler; siblings: JoAnn Sikes of Texas, Jo Dee Tracy, Ronald Tracy, Mary Jo Williams, and Dylon Tracy all of Maquoketa; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Gary Tracy.
