Carl E. Slapnicka, 75, of Camanche, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Read Obituary
I served with Bud during his Air Force service in the late 50's. I have nothing but fond memories of this gentle giant of a man. Even though we have been separated for many years, it has always been a comfort for me to know that he was just a phone call or Email away. There is a hole in my life and in my heart. I extend my most sincere condolences to his other friends and to his family.
Joan, and all of Carl's family my sincere condolences. We used to live across the alley in Camanche.
