HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON AND A GOOD FRIEND OF MY BROTHER JOE FROM YEARS AGO. MY SISTER MARY WORKED WITH HIM AT G.E. AND ALWAYS ENJOYED CONVERSATIONS WITH HIM. VERY SORRY ABOUT THE FAMILY LOSS. I DID NOT KNOW HE WAS HAVING A PROBLEM UNTIL THE END.
Brenda and Family, So sorry for your loss. Remember the good times you had.
Pork, was a great addition to our family. He was always willing to be the cook anytime we had a family gathering and he was always a big help to my father. I will miss the times when we were together and he would give my brother Rick a hard time about working for the DNR and all their laws (Pork loved to hunt and fish)he would also make fun of Iowa State any time he could since Pork loved the Hawkeyes and Rick went to ISU.
He was a great father and grandfather to Sharon's kids and their kids and we will all miss him very much. May his soul rest in peace with the Lord. Mark

To Carl's Family,
I remember Carl, that I knew as Porky, since somewhere in the mid to late 40's. He kept out whole famiy entertained one night telling stories about his vacation to Sweden with his grandpa. He was so funny and loved by so many people. I am so sorry for your loss.

It was truly a honor being able to care for Carl. I have never had a patient in my three years at the UIHC that affected me the way Carl did. I fell in love with him right from the start. I will always remember his cute smiling face and will always hold a special place in my heart for him. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Dear Barb and family,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are so sorry in the loss of your dad. Stay strong, and know if you need anything, we are just a phone call away.
Love, Kim
